Torino+Piemonte Card – City pass for Turin

The Torino+Piemonte Card is a sightseeing pass for Turin and surrounding area that offers free admission to around 60 attractions - including famous places like the Museo Egizio, the Royal Museums, and the Cinema Museum Mole Antonelliana. The card is valid for 24, 48, 72, or 120 hours and also provides discounts on city tours, selected transportation (panoramic elevator, funicular, shuttle bus), and events.

Egyptian Museum (Museo Egizio)

Turin's Museo Egizio houses one of the world's largest ancient Egyptian collections - over 30,000 artifacts, with only the museum in Cairo being more extensive. In the modern exhibition halls, you can admire mummies, sarcophagi, temples, and everyday objects from 4,000 years of history. Highlights include the burial goods of the master builder Kha and a statue of Ramses II. An audio guide leads through the exhibition, which never feels overcrowded thanks to time-slot tickets.

With the Torino Card, admission is free, but reserve a visiting time slot online in advance!

Mole Antonelliana & National Cinema Museum

The Mole Antonelliana is Turin's unmistakable landmark - a 167-meter-tall domed building from the 19th century. Originally planned as a synagogue, it now houses the National Cinema Museum, Italy's most important cinema museum. Multiple floors full of film posters, historic cameras, and interactive stations bring the history of cinema to life. In the center, a glass panoramic elevator travels up to 85 meters high, where a 360-degree view of Turin and the Alps awaits you.

The museum admission is free with the card; the elevator ride is separate but discounted for cardholders.

Royal Museums (Musei Reali)

The Musei Reali combine several attractions in the heart of Turin on one ticket. As the former seat of the House of Savoy, the complex includes the baroque Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale) with magnificent throne rooms, the Armory full of gleaming armor, an art gallery (Galleria Sabauda), an Archaeological Museum, as well as the court's own Chapel of the Shroud and extensive gardens. Here you immerse yourself in the splendor of the royal court and can easily spend half a day.

With the Torino Card, you have free access to all areas of the Musei Reali; particularly impressive is the originally preserved Parliament Hall from 1848 in Palazzo Carignano, which is also included.

Venaria Reale Palace (Reggia di Venaria)

The magnificent Reggia di Venaria Reale just outside Turin - often called the "Italian Versailles" - is a baroque palace complex from the 17th century. Once built as a hunting residence for the House of Savoy, the complex is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After long neglect, it was extensively restored and has been shining in full splendor again since 2007. Visitors wander through frescoed halls, magnificent galleries, and royal chambers - above all the spectacular Galleria Grande, which rivals Versailles with its white marble arches. Also worth seeing are the extensive gardens and historic stables.

The Torino Card gives you free admission; the shuttle bus "Venaria Express" from the center is offered at a discount with the card.

National Automobile Museum (MAUTO)

The Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile is a modern museum that delights even non-car enthusiasts. On 3 floors, around 200 original vehicles from 80 manufacturers are displayed - from the first steam-powered carriages of the 19th century to modern concept cars. The exhibition leads you interactively through the history of automobiles and Italy's automotive culture, from nostalgic Fiat classics to gleaming Ferrari race cars. Multimedia installations, historic racing videos, and simulators make the visit entertaining and educational.

With the Torino+Piemonte Card, you get free admission to this award-winning museum.

Risorgimento Museum (Palazzo Carignano)

In the baroque Palazzo Carignano - the birthplace of two Italian kings - is the Risorgimento Museum, the largest historical museum about Italian unification. Here you learn about the events of the 19th century, when Italy transformed from a patchwork into a nation-state. Original flags, uniforms, weapons, documents, and paintings bring the era of revolutions and Savoy rule to life. The highlight is the originally preserved Parliament Hall, where the first Italian Parliament convened in 1861 - a monumental room with a gallery-decorated dome.

For Torino Card holders, this National Museum (the most important of its kind in Italy) is also freely accessible.

Additional Attractions

Of course, the Torino+Piemonte Card offers much more. In total, over 80 attractions in Turin and throughout Piedmont are included - far more than one can manage during a short visit. Besides the highlights presented above, you can also visit the baroque Palazzo Madama, the Museum of Oriental Art (MAO), the Modern Art Gallery (GAM), the Villa della Regina, or the Castello di Rivoli (Museum of Contemporary Art) for free. The card also includes historic churches and excursion destinations like the Basilica of Superga on the hill or the hunting lodge Stupinigi.

Furthermore, cardholders benefit from discounts on tourist offerings, such as city tours, cable cars, and events. A complete list of all included attractions and benefits can be found in the official brochure and on the Turismo Torino website.
