Attractions with the Torino+Piemonte Card

The Torino+Piemonte Card gives you free or discounted entry to over 180 museums, sights and cultural institutions in Turin and Piedmont.

The Torino+Piemonte Card is a sightseeing pass for Turin and the surrounding area that offers free entry to around 60 attractions - including famous places such as the Museo Egizio, the Royal Museums and the Cinema Museum Mole Antonelliana. The card is valid for 24, 48, 72 or 120 hours and also offers discounts on city tours, selected means of transport (panoramic elevator, mountain railroad, shuttle bus) and events.

Egyptian Museum (Museo Egizio)

The Turin Museo Egizio houses one of the largest ancient Egyptian collections in the world - over 30,000 artifacts, only the museum in Cairo is more extensive. In the modern exhibition rooms you can marvel at mummies, sarcophagi, temples and everyday objects from 4000 years of history. Highlights include the burial objects of the master builder Kha and a statue of Ramses II. An audioguide guides you through the exhibition, which never seems overcrowded thanks to time slot tickets.

Admission is free with the Torino Card, but reserve a time slot online in advance!

Mole Antonelliana & National Film Museum

The Mole Antonelliana is the unmissable landmark of Turin - a 167 m high domed building from the 19th century. Originally planned as a synagogue, it now houses the National Film Museum, the most important cinema museum in Italy. Several floors full of film posters, historical cameras and interactive stations bring the history of film to life. In the middle, a glass panoramic elevator takes you up to a height of 85 m, where a panoramic view of Turin and the Alps awaits you.

Museum admission is free with the card; the elevator ride is separate but discounted for cardholders.*

Royal Museums (Musei Reali)

The Musei Reali combine several sights in the heart of Turin on one ticket. As the former seat of the Savoy family, the complex includes the baroque King's Palace (Palazzo Reale) with its magnificent throne rooms, the Armory full of gleaming armor, a picture gallery (Galleria Sabauda), an archaeological museum as well as the court's own Treasure Chapel and extensive Gardens. Here you can immerse yourself in the splendor of the royal court and easily spend half a day.

The Torino Card gives you free access to all areas of the Musei Reali; particularly impressive is the originally preserved Parliament Hall from 1848 in Palazzo Carignano, which is also included.

Venaria Reale Castle (Reggia di Venaria)

The magnificent Reggia di Venaria Reale at the gates of Turin - often referred to as the "Italian Versailles" - is a Baroque palace ensemble from the 17th century. Once built as a hunting residence for the House of Savoy, the complex is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a long period of neglect, it was extensively restored and has shone in all its glory again since 2007. Visitors stroll through frescoed halls, magnificent galleries and royal chambers - above all the spectacular Galleria Grande, which rivals Versailles with its white marble arches. The extensive gardens and historic stables are also well worth a visit.

The Torino Card gives you free entry; the "Venaria Express" shuttle bus from the city center is offered at a reduced price with the card.

National Automobile Museum (MAUTO)

The Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile is a modern museum that will delight even non-car fans. Around 200 original vehicles from 80 manufacturers are on display over 3 floors - from the first steam-powered carriages of the 19th century to modern concept cars. The exhibition takes you on an interactive journey through the history of the automobile and Italy's automotive culture, from nostalgic Fiat vintage cars to gleaming Ferrari racing cars. Multimedia installations, historical racing videos and simulators make the visit entertaining and educational.

The Torino+Piemonte Card gives you free entry to this award-winning museum.

Museum of the Risorgimento (Palazzo Carignano)

The baroque Palazzo Carignano - the birthplace of two Italian kings - is home to the Risorgimento Museum, the largest historical museum on the Italian unification period. Here you can learn about the events of the 19th century, when Italy went from a patchwork quilt to a nation state. Original flags, uniforms, weapons, documents and paintings bring the time of the revolutions and the rule of the Savoys to life. The highlight is the originally preserved Parliament Hall, where the first Italian parliament met in 1861 - a monumental room with a gallery-decorated dome.

For Torino Card holders, this National Museum (the most important of its kind in Italy) is also accessible free of charge.
