Frequently Asked Questions

The Torino+Piemonte Card offers free admission for one adult and one child under 12 years to numerous top museums, attractions and exhibitions in Turin and surrounding areas. This includes significant museums, castles, fortresses and royal residences in the region.

Additionally, the pass provides discounted admission to many other cultural sites throughout Piedmont. The main tourist services in Turin (such as the panoramic elevator in the Mole Antonelliana, the Sassi–Superga rack railway, the "Venaria Express" shuttle bus, the City Sightseeing Torino Bus and the Eco City Tour) can also be used with discounts. Pass holders also benefit from discounts on special exhibitions, guided tours, experiences and events throughout the region.

The validity of the Torino+Piemonte Card begins with first use. When first visiting an attraction included in the pass, the pass (or its QR code) is activated.

From this point, time counts for 24, 48, 72 or 120 consecutive hours depending on the purchased variant. Within this timeframe, the pass can be used as many times as desired for different attractions according to its validity.

With the Torino+Piemonte Card, you can visit each included attraction once for free. This means one free admission per museum or attraction is possible during the card's validity period.

With the 24-hour card, a maximum of three free admissions are possible in total. With cards having longer validity (48, 72 or 120 hours), there is no limit to the number of different attractions you can visit (once per attraction each).

The Torino+Piemonte Card itself does not serve as a ticket for public transport, but offers discounts on some tourist transportation in Turin. As a card holder, you receive discounted tickets for the panoramic elevator in the Mole Antonelliana, the rack railway from Sassi to Superga, the "Venaria Express" shuttle bus, as well as for city tours with the City Sightseeing Bus and the electric Turin Eco City Tour.

Furthermore, card holders can purchase 48-hour or 72-hour tickets for urban public transport (bus, tram, metro in Turin) at a special price at tourist information centers.

No, the Torino+Piemonte Card is not a ticket for public transport (bus, tram or subway). You must buy regular tickets for travel within the city.

However, card holders have the option to purchase discounted multi-day tickets for public transport at tourist offices (e.g., a 48-hour ticket for about €7 or a 72-hour ticket for about €9; sold only in conjunction with the pass and while supplies last).

Direct airport transfer is not included in the Torino+Piemonte Card.

However, card holders receive a discount on the Airport Shuttle (bus connection between Turin airport and the city), as the journey with the Arriva airport bus is discounted for pass holders.

No, the pass does not provide priority admission (Fast Track) at attractions.

You still need to show your QR code at the ticket office and receive a ticket, meaning there is no "skip the line" benefit. However, it makes sense to reserve a time slot online in advance for heavily visited museums to reduce waiting times.

The Torino+Piemonte Card automatically covers one child under 12 years per card who accompanies the card holder – this child receives the same free or discounted admission as the adult.

For young people under 18, a cheaper Junior version of the Card (valid up to 72 hours) is offered. There are no additional age discounts beyond this (no special discounts for seniors, students, etc.).

When purchasing online (e.g., via the official website), you receive a digital voucher with a QR code. This code is immediately ready for use and can be shown at museum ticket offices directly from your smartphone (or as a printout) to receive your free ticket.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Torino+Piemonte Card on-site – for example at tourist information centers in Turin (such as at Piazza Castello) or other official sales points. There you receive a physical card with QR code, which you also show at ticket offices.

Cancellation or refund of the Torino+Piemonte Card is generally possible, but only under certain conditions.

If the pass was purchased online via the official website and has not yet been activated, a refund of 75% of the purchase price can be requested within 365 days (25% cancellation fee). For this, you must contact Turismo Torino (e.g., by email). Already purchased additional tickets (e.g., for public transport) are excluded from the refund. Third-party providers have their own cancellation conditions.

The Torino+Piemonte Card is personal and may only be used by the person who purchased it.

Each pass or QR code is individual and non-transferable. Sharing the card with third parties is therefore not permitted.
